A burglary suspect was arrested Wednesday afternoon around 3 p.m. on the corner of Los Alisos and Vista del Lago, said Lt. Chris Wilson, chief of police services for Mission Viejo.
Earlier in the day a burglary was reported in Mission Viejo.
Police spotted a vehicle matching the one described in that burglary, Wilson said. Deputies arrested one suspect, but another fled on foot and escaped police, he said.
A Mission Viejo Patch reader said police had set up road blocks in the area.
The only burglary reported in Mission Viejo Wednesday was of a vehicle on the 27500 block of Hillcrest. That was reported at 8:47 a.m.
