Car Burglary on Via Damasco

A woman's black Chevy Silverado was burglarized near the corner of Via Damasco and Los Alisos, according to a caller.

Someone broke into the car between 10:30 Tuesday night and 12:40 Wednesday morning, the caller's boyfriend said.

The woman, who called police at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, said her boyfriend tried to report the incident, but police told him she would have to call to file the report because her car was burglarized.

Because she was serving house arrest related to a DUI, she could not file the incident report at the sheriff's office, her boyfriend said.
