Caught on Video: Do You Know This Burglary Suspect?

Orange County Sheriff's deputies are hoping someone recognizes this man, whom they believe brazenly stole from a Mission Viejo family while they slept upstairs.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are hoping someone in the public recognizes a suspect who burglarized a Mission Viejo home in February.

The house’s surveillance camera caught footage of the suspect as he scoped the home for valuables. He ultimately stole some iPads and cash, according to a news release from the sheriff’s department.

The incident took place around 3 a.m. Feb. 18 as the homeowners slept. The suspect – described as a Hispanic or Asian, approximately 17-20 years old with dark hair – entered through an unlocked sliding glass door, officials said.
