Chase Bank Robbed in Mission Viejo

A female suspect entered the bank inside Albertson's and handed the teller a note demanding cash, police said.

A Chase Bank branch in Mission Viejo was robbed Friday afternoon by a female suspect dressed as a man, police said.

The suspect entered the bank, located inside at 25872 Muirlands Blvd., around 1:45 p.m., Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Gary Strachan said. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash, was given the cash by the teller and left the bank. She then got into a car driven by a second suspect, who was male, Strachan said.

No weapon was used in the robbery, and the amount of money taken by the suspect has yet to be determined, Strachan said.
