Child Safety: Free Fingerprinting Today
Help police help you in an emergency with a free child safety kit.
If your children go missing, police will need a way to identify them to hopefully bring them home safely.
You can take the first step today at . Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Assemblywoman Diane Harkey and the California Highway Patrol have arranged a free fingerprinting and safety kit booth. Just head to center court.
According to the FBI website, collecting your child's fingerprints is important "not only because everyone’s fingerprints are unique, but also because they don’t change over time like physical appearances."
