Cop Calls: Neighbor Throws Stinky Surprise onto Los Altos Back Porch

A rundown of calls from Mission Viejo that came into the Orange County Sheriff’s Department January 22-23. 

Thursday

  • A black Camaro crashed with a red Ford Focus around 7 a.m. near the Crown Valley/I-5 interchange.
  • A burglary was reported on the 27500 block of Noya around 7 a.m.
  • When a transient rolled out of the bushes near the Oso/Montanoso intersection, an informant called police around 7 a.m.
  • A transient was found sleeping in front of a Starbucks front door on the 27600 block of Santa Margarita Parkway around 2 a.m. A delivery person was prevented from entering the building.
  • A 54-year-old woman was arrested around 1:45 a.m. following a routine traffic stop at Nattie's Liquor near the Charlinda/Alicia intersection.

Wednesday

  • A man and woman were seen begging at the Trabuco/Alicia intersection around 5:30 p.m. Three young children sat on the ground nearby, a caller said.
  • A taxi cab crashed with a silver Honda around 5 p.m. on the 23000 block of Los Alisos. No one was injured. A 49-year-old housekeeper was arrested.
  • A neighbor threw feces on the back porch of a home on the 27200 block of Los Altos around 4 p.m.
  • Two women were spotted digging through a dumpster on the 28000 block of Marguerite around 9 a.m.
  • A 24-year-old manager was arrested following reports of a disturbance on the 26200 block of Verona around 3:30 a.m.
