Cop Calls: Party-Thrower Arrested, Purse Stolen, Homeless Disturbance

A rundown of calls that came into the Orange County Sheriff’s Department from Mission Viejo Jan. 13-15.

Wednesday

  • Police were called on a tall man with spiky hair and ear piercings on the 26300 block of La Alameda around 12:30 p.m.
  • A 23-year-old manager was issued a citation around 2:15 a.m. following complaints of a loud party on the 25900 block of Monte Carlo Way.
  • A 29-year-old pet sitter was arrested on the corner of Marguerite and Avery around 12:30 a.m. and taken to Central Womens Jail. Her bail was set at $50,000.

Tuesday

  • Two homeless women were involved in a disturbance on the 27000 block of La Paz around 6:50 p.m.
  • A traffic accident outside the Mission Viejo library involved a small, white SUV, a gold sedan and a red sedan around 4:15 p.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 2:15 p.m.
  • A burglary was reportedly in progress on the 24100 block of Roma Drive around 1:45 p.m.
  • A woman tracked her stolen phone to the corner of Estanciero Drive and Marguerite Parkway around 1:30 p.m.

Monday

  • A woman was heard screaming around 8:30 p.m. on the 22500 block of Labrusca.
  • A burgundy Buick crashed with a bicycle on Alicia Parkway near Po Avenue around 2:30 p.m.
