Cop Calls: Woman Yanked from Car, Kicked at Alicia and Jeronimo

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department Dec. 18-19. 

Thursday

  • Police secured a residence at 7:25 a.m. following an earlier structure fire on Capricho.
Wednesday
  • Police checked reports of a possibly broken water main on the 26200 block of Camino Largo around 11:30 p.m.
  • A woman said a man pulled her from her vehicle at the Alicia/Jeronimo intersection and started kicking her around 10:30 p.m.
  • Police responded to reports of a woman yelling "stop it" in an upstairs apartment on the 23800 block of Alicia. A 55-year-old truck driver was arrested and is in custody on $10,000 bond.
  • A woman was spotted removing flyers from vehicles and throwing them on the ground at the Santa Margarita/Marguerite intersection around 4:40 p.m.
  • A petty theft was reported from the community center around 2:45 p.m.
  • A gray Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 2800 block of Marguerite Parkway around 5:20 a.m.
