The woman who exited a vehicle, ran across the center divider of interstate 5 and was hit by an oncoming car has been identified.
Linda Von Trapp, 52, of Huntington Beach, was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m. at Mission Hospital after the accident, according to the Orange County Coroner. She was born Nov. 24, 1960, according to the coroner's report.
The coroner estimates Von Trapp was injured at 9:14 a.m.
