D.A. Charges Serial 'Exposer' for Incidents Throughout O.C.

Prosecutors are looking for more potential victims.

The Orange County District Attorney’s office is seeking more potential victims of a man officials say exposed his genitals to women in various cities throughout Orange County.

Prosecutors have charged Patrick Dodenhoff, 45, San Luis Obispo, with eight felony counts of indecent exposure with a prior conviction.

Among the cities where Dodenhoff allegedly exposed himself are:

  • Mission Viejo
  • Laguna Hills
  • Irvine
  • Westminster
  • Brea
  • Dana Point

Dodenhoff has seven prior convictions are for indecent exposure between 1997 and 2008 in Southern California and San Luis Obispo, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s office.

He is also charged with sentencing enhancements for four prison priors for indecent exposure in 2005 and 2008, and failure to register as a sex offender in 2009. At the time of his arrest, the defendant is accused of being a parolee and a registered sex offender.

Prosecutors will ask Dodenhoff be held on $500,000 bail. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 11 years and eight months in state prison.
