Deputies Warned of 'Prostitution House' on Darlington

Deputies were called to the 25100 block of Darlington near La Paz Road after an older man went into what the caller described as a "prostitution house." The neighbor had been told to report unusual activity at the house.

The call came at 3:48 p.m. Monday.

  • 7:38 a.m. A woman told police her boyfriend had beaten her 10-15 times but she's never reported it. The call came from the 27600 block of Crown Valley Parkway.
  • 5:37 a.m. Two teens were accused of stealing a bottle of liquor from the 27700 block of Santa Margarita Parkway.
Monday

  • 11:03 p.m. A woman said her boyfriend kicked her and her daughter out without letting them bring their belongings. The call came from the 23900 block of Sofia Street.
  • Residents complained of noisy skateboarders at 9:24 p.m. and again at 10:13 p.m. Calls came from the 26100 block of Avenida Calidad and the Sprig/Tree intersection, respectively.
  • 9:37 p.m. A woman and her friends jumped a pool fence on the 27700 block of Emerald and another drunk woman began to argue with her.
  • 8:49 p.m. A parent described a 21-year-old son as being drunk and "out of control" on the 28500 block of La Noche. John Wolfgang Bruner, 21, was arrested.
  • 3:48 p.m. An older man was seen going into a "prostitution house" on the 25100 block of Darlington, according to a caller.
  • A woman said her 9-year-old son complained of pain following a felony hit-and-run. The responsible driver was described as a woman driving a light brown SUV. The report was made in person at the city's police services department.
  • 10:04 a.m. A man called police after receiving death threats from his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend via text. The call came from the 27900 block of Lucero.
  • 9:04 a.m. Deputies were called on a drunk man inside a bank at 27500 Puerta Real.
Sunday

  • 8:31 p.m. A vehicle was reportedly ramming into the building or gate at La Tierra Elementary.
  • 6:41 p.m. An 18-year-old said his stepfather punched him in the face on the 26700 block of Carlota Drive.
  • 5:37 p.m. An iPad was reported stolen from the Apple Store restroom inside the mall.
  • 5:13 p.m. Neighbors set up a projector and screen after blocking off the intersection of Baccara and Argento.
  • 4:56 p.m. A young man with red hair and a black backpack was seen looking through the bushes.
  • 1:28 p.m. A driver was seen pouring alcohol into a coffee cup at Jack in the Box at El Paseo and Cabot Road.
  • 12:45 p.m. Police were called to the mall after someone traded in a stolen Playstation 3.
  • 9:11 a.m. Someone found a park bench covered with mens clothing behind Ralph's on the Aliso Creek Trail.
