Deputy-Involved Shooting in Ladera Ranch
The incident took place nearby condos at Sansovino and Vecchio.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies have identified the suspect in a deputy-involved shooting Sunday in Ladera Ranch.
At about 10:26 p.m., responded to the domestic disturbance call in the 100 block of Sansovino, according to a just-released press statement.

“Deputies arrived and encountered Shaun Bradley Paquette, 29, Ladera Ranch, inside the residence, during which time a deputy-involved shooting occurred,” according to the new release.
Paquette was transported to a local hospital by Orange County Fire Authority paramedics with non-life threatening injuries suffered as a result of the shooting.

The deputy was not injured during the incident.
Paquette was arrested on suspicion of for assault with a deadly weapon, battery against a spouse and child endangerment. He was booked into Orange County Jail and is currently being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Like all deputy-involved shootings, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the incident.
