Angry Holiday Parking, Tightrope Walker And Other Cop Calls

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Nov. 22-25.

On Black Friday around 10:45 a.m., police were called over a parking dispute at the mall. The caller said a man in his mid-40s was angry after the caller took a parking space instead of him.

The man apparentlytried to open the caller's door.

In a separate incident, police were called to take a crime report after a 2-year-old girl was admitted to Mission Hospital in the 27700 block of Medical Center Road at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday with bite marks that were allegedly from her father living in Corona.

Grand theft report. 1:57 p.m. Friday. 28200 block of Marguerite Parkway.

Disturbance. 7:27 p.m. Thursday. 25400 block of El Paseo. A caller said a man reeking of alcohol was cursing out people as he tried to cut in line.

Assist outside agency. 4:47 p.m. Thursday. 23900 block of Alicia Parkway. Sheriff deputies arrested a 39-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men's Jail with no bail set.

Disturbance. 11:59 a.m. Thursday. Alicia Parkway and Olympiad Road. A caller asked police to check the area for a man beating a woman inside a white Ford. The woman was screaming for help.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:28 p.m. Wednesday. Spadra Lane and Granvia Drive. A resident said a truck pulling a trailer with a horse in it has been parked on the street for a few days.

Traffic stop. 8:23 p.m. Wednesday. Melinda Road and Santa Margarita Parkway. A 37-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where she was cited and released.

Pedestrian check. 7:21 p.m. Wednesday. 200 block of Civic Center. A 40-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian check and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released.

Welfare check. 4:39 p.m. Wednesday. 27300 block of Las Nieves. A 45-yer-old woman was arrested and taken into custody at Orange County Jail where she was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:39 p.m. Wednesday. 26400 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A caller said a man in his 20s, wearing a thin T-shirt and shorts, placed tight rope around the business center and was walking on it.

Disturbance. 12:08 a.m. Wednesday. Fieldcrest Drive and Felipe Road. A caller said they could hear around 50 kids creating a disturbance at a nearby park.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 5:02 p.m. Tuesday. La Paz Road and Chrisanta Drive. A caller said a man riding in a gray Toyota Corolla was smoking marijuana using an apple bong.

Burglary in progress. 4:56 p.m. Tuesday. Santa Margarita Parkway and Marguerite Parkway. Police responding to a burglary call arrested a 23-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men's Jail with no bail set after someone reported him stealing a basket full of groceries without paying for them.
