Girl Reports Being Approached By A Mustached Man

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

A caller said a man in his 20s with a mustache wearing a black sleeveless shirt and jeans went up to her 15-year-old daughter who was sitting in the car and started staring at her as he went around the vehicle and ran his hands along the car.

The suspicious person report was made around 4:33 p.m. last Monday at the intersection of Alicia Parkway and Olympiad Road.

Hit and run parked car. 5:18 p.m. Monday. Hillcrest and Sunstone. Sheriff deputies arrested a 43-year-old woman and took her into custody at Orange County Jail where she was cited and released.

Disturbance. 3:20 p.m. Monday. 27700 block of Santa Margarita Pkwy. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 43-year-old woman and took her into custody at Orange County Jail on $20,000 bail.

Pedestrian check. 11:36 a.m. Monday. 27700 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A 19-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian check and was taken into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $50,000 bail.

Non cohabitant domestic violence. 11:20 a.m. Monday. 21600 block of Marguerite Parkway. Sheriff deputies arrested a 31-year-old woman and took her into custody at Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Traffic stop. 8:19 a.m. Monday. Marguerite Parkway and College Drive. A 47-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $1,500 bail.

Traffic stop. 6:12 a.m. Monday. Cabot and La Paz. A 29-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Warrant arrest. 6:37 p.m. Sunday. 26000 block of Via Pera. A 19-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $15,000 bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 1:56 a.m. Sunday. 26800 block of Calle Maria. A resident said someone was either using a power drill or was knocking on their garage door.

Traffic stop. 8:11 p.m. Saturday. Marguerite and Felipe. A 37-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released when he posted bail.

Welfare check. 7:35 p.m. Saturday. Marguerite Parkway and Trabuco Road. Sheriff deputies performing a welfare check arrested a 33-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:32 p.m. Saturday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Vallejo. A caller said a man sitting in a lawn chair surrounded by trash bags was possibly living in the creek bed.

Burglary report. 3:27 a.m. Saturday. Hillcrest and Marguerite Parkway. A caller said someone stole her purse and other items from her black Audi A4.

Disturbance. 7:25 p.m. Friday. 27000 block of Fortrose. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 31-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Petty theft report. 6:55 p.m. Friday. 27000 block of Crown Valley Parkway. An 1-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released under his own recognizance.

Reckless driving. 4:55 p.m. Friday. 23700 block of Via Fabricante. A caller said people driving a black Mercedes and a silver Subaru were racing up and down the street.
