Girl Seen Drinking With 40-Year-Old Man

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from July 29 to Aug 2.

A caller living near the intersection of Sanz and La Crescenta asked sheriff's deputies to check for a 40-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl who were drinking poolside. The girl seemed to be not having any fun, according to the caller.

The call was made around 2:07 p.m. Friday.

Disturbance. 2:56 a.m. Sunday. 28000 block of Marguerite Parkway. Sheriff's deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 20-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $20,000 bail.

Traffic stop. 12:29 a.m. Sunday. La Barca and Dearborn. A 21-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $20,000 bail.

Traffic stop. 5:05 p.m. Saturday. Camargo and Naranja. A 21-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:43 a.m. Saturday. 26600 block of Salamanca Drive. Sheriff's deputies responding to a suspicious persons report arrested a 45-year-old woman and placed her in custody at Orange County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Traffic hazard. 2:40 p.m. Saturday. Marguerite Parkway and Shops Boulevard.  Sheriff deputies arrested a 26-year-old landscaper on suspicion of posing a traffic hazard and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail and was released for time served.

Disturbance. 10:54 p.m. Friday. 21600 block of Marguerite Parkway. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested an 18-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:56 p.m. Friday. 28100 block of Marguerite Parkway. A caller said a man in his 20s, wearing a white tank top and beige pants, appeared to have been under the influence of drugs as he crawled around the parking lot.

Suspicious vehicle. 2:15 p.m. Friday. Marguerite Parkway and Avery Parkway. A caller said someone was moving in the back of a white van with blacked out windows that was parked under an overpass.
