Girlfriend Reports Domestic Abuse, But Case Takes Odd Twist

Deputies arrive and arrest someone else.

A woman told deputies her boyfriend, a felon on probation, "hit her several times," according to Sheriff's Department logs.

But deputies didn't arrest the boyfriend. Instead, retail worker Cheyenne Autumn Williams, 26, was jailed on $50,000 bail. It was unclear whether Williams was the one who initially called deputies.

The call came from the 27800 block of Aberdeen around 5 p.m. Monday.
