Insomniac Reported Wandering Around Mission Hospital

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Nov. 18-22.

Hospital staff reported a woman with shoulder length hair, wearing a brown sweatshirt and jeans who they said hadn't slept for four days, wandering around the property near the 27700 block of Medical Center Road and getting in the way of staffers.

The assist outside agency call was made around 8:01 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary report. 7:36 a.m. Tuesday. 28200 block of La Caleta.

Disturbance. 12:36 a.m. Tuesday. 23200 block of Madero.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:29 p.m. Monday. Alicia Parkway and Trabuco Road. A caller said kids hiding in nearby bushes were shining a green laser at passing cars.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:25 p.m. Monday. 27800 block of Festivo. A caller asked police to check for a boy that was walking around the neighborhood, introducing himself as the new neighbor.

Traffic stop. 3:27 p.m. Monday. Marguerite Parkway and Olympiad Road. A 32-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Central Men's Jail with no bail set.

Hit and run misdemeanor report. 2:10 a.m. Monday. 26900 block of Glencoe. A resident said someone ran their vehicle into his garage door, damaging it and leaving tire marks on the driveway.

Assist outside agency. 2:44 p.m. Sunday. 27100 block of Cedros. A caller requested medics, saying that he was now experiencing numbness after being discharged from a hospital in Los Angeles due to being shot six times while in Mexico.

Citizen assist. 2:35 a.m. Sunday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Trabuco Road. A 27-year-old man was arrested after falling off his motorcyle and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:24 p.m. Saturday. 27700 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A caller asked sheriff deputies to check a nearby parking structure for two men, one with a shaved head, that were attempting to enter parked cars.

Reckless driving. 4:46 p.m. Saturday. El Mar Drive and Morena Drive. A caller said a man was racing around the neighborhood on a dirt bike, and added that it's an ongoing problem.

Traffic accident-unknown injuries. 11:26 p.m. Friday. Marguerite Pkwy and Santa Margarita Pkwy. Police responding to a traffic accident arrested a 39-year-old man and took him into custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Unknown trouble. 9:50 p.m. Friday. Claro and Marguerite Parkway. Residents preventing a man from leaving the scene said a woman fell out of his car and was laying in the gutter.

Disturbance. 4:42 p.m. Friday. 24200 block of Valyermo Drive. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 57-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men's Jail on $50,000 bail.
