Jewelry Courier Stabbed on La Paz in Mission Viejo
Three men attacked a jewelry courier and ran off with jewelry and rare coins Tuesday afternoon.
Three men attacked and stabbed a jewelry store courier leaving Saatchi Jewelry about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The thieves ran off with gems, rare coins and cash, according to a City News Service report.
The thieves smashed the right front passenger window and slashed the left rear tire of the courier's ride before stabbing the victim and taking the valuables, CNS said.

The courier's name is currently being withheld. He was taken to Mission Hospital with stab wounds on his wrist and arm, Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino told CNS.
