Ladera Ranch Robber Hid Rifle in Guitar Case

Police want your help capturing a man who robbed a Ladera Ranch tanning salon.

Police are asking for the public's help finding an armed robber.

At 6:55 p.m. Saturday a man pulled a black rifle from a guitar case and demanded cash from Beach Tanning Salon, 27742 Antonio Parkway in Ladera Ranch, said Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino.

The robber is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, in his 20s.

It's unclear what kind of rifle the man wielded, Amormino said. He said it may have been an assault rifle.

Someone may have clues that could help police, Amormino said. The robbery took place in a busy commercial center with shops and restaurants nearby.
