Man Arrested After Shooting At Gardeners

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Sept. 2-6.

Police responding to a disturbance call near the 23700 block of Brasilia Street arrested a 30-year-old man after his neighbor told police his tree-trimmers were being shot at with an air gun. He said one employee suffered a welt.

The arrested man who works as a security guard did not have any past violations, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

The man was taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released when he posted bail.

The call was made at 5:14 p.m. Saturday.

Traffic stop. 1:46 p.m. Monday. Jeronimo Road and Alicia Parkway. A 29-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released when she posted bail.

Warrant arrest. 10:57 a.m. Monday. 27500 block of Bellogente. A 26-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Vandalism report. 1:18 a.m. Monday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Mustang Run.

Hit and run parked car. 12:27 a.m. Monday. 27500 block of Capricho.

Disturbance-music or party. 10:40 p.m. Sunday. 21800 block of Southgate.

Burglary report. 10:21 a.m. Sunday. 24400 block of Encorvado Lane.

Shots heard-no suspect information. 11:23 p.m. Saturday. Oso Viejo and La Paz Road. A caller said they heard a gunshot near .

Suspicious person/circumstances. 3:14 p.m. Saturday. 26700 block of Pericles Street. A resident said two teenage boys with marijuana and needles were trying to hide from the caller as they were doing drugs behind some trees near the location.

Drunk driving. 5:11 a.m. Saturday. Marguerite Parkway and Avery Parkway. A caller reporting a possible drunken driver and occupants riding in a blue Scion that crashed into the curb were acting obnoxious when they exited the vehicle.

Drunk driving. 12:58 a.m. Saturday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Madero. A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Traffic stop. 9:52 p.m. Friday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Madero. A 48-ear-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released under his own recognizance

Disturbance-music or party. 9:08 p.m. Friday. Chrisanta Drive and La Paz Road. A caller said a group of kids loitering near the were also drinking and smoking.

Traffic accident-non injury. 8:20 p.m. Friday. 24500 block of Saturna Drive. Sheriff's deputies responding to a traffic accident report arrested a 49-year-old man and took him into custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Assist outside agency. 5:53 p.m. Friday. 27000 block of El Retiro. Sheriff deputies arrested a 20-year-old man and took him into custody at the Theo Lacy Facility with no bail set.

Assist outside agency. 6:17 p.m. Friday. 27000 block of Aldeano Drive. Sheriff deputies arrested a 62-year-old woman and took her into custody at Orange County Jail where she was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:27 p.m. Friday. Charlinda Drive and Alicia Parkway. A resident asked police to check for a group of teens at the end of the cul-de-sac who were using vulgar language while smoking cigarettes.
