Man Arrested Following Suspicion of 'Casing' Mimosa Lane

Read police calls from Sunday and Monday in Mission Viejo

Deputies arrested a man Monday around 2 a.m. on the 26500 block of Mimosa Lane. A caller told police the man had something in his hand and "looks like he's casing residents in the area."

The arrested 36-year-old longshoreman is being held at the Intake Release Center on $20,000 bail. The same man pled guilty to a felony drug possession charge in 1999.
