Crime Blotter: Man Hugging Traffic Lights on Marguerite Parkway

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Dec. 6-9.

A man wearing a red plaid shirt and khaki pants was reported running to and from stop lights to hug them near the intersection of Center Drive and Marguerite Parkway.

The suspicious person report was sent to police at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary report. 6:17 a.m. Friday. 21100 block Rose.

Disturbance. 12:39 a.m. Friday. 22800 block of Via Santa Rosa.

Burglary report. 10:29 p.m. Thursday. 25700 block Po Avenue.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:40 p.m. Thursday. 27000 block Fortrose.

Stolen vehicle. 2:42 a.m. Thursday. I-5 and Crown Valley Parkway.

Assist outside agency. 8:41 p.m. Wednesday. 28000 block Calle Valdes. A 24-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at Central Men's Jail with no bail set.

Welfare check. 6:41 p.m. Wednesday. 26600 block Altanero. Sheriff deputies performing a welfare check arrested a 42-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men's Jail on $15,000 bail.

Citizen assist. 10:56 a.m. Wednesday. 25600 block Peter A Hartman Way. An 18-year-old woman was arrested and taken into custody at Orange County Jail and was released under her own recognizance.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:28 p.m. Tuesday. 27400 block Morro Drive. A resident reported someone shutting off all the circuit breakers on his home.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:34 p.m. Tuesday. 27700 block Sinsonte. A resident said a man wearing a white hat and dark-colored clothes that said he was from AT&T to respond to a service call, was possibly casing the area. The caller did not request anything to be repaired.

Disturbance. 3:33 p.m. Tuesday. Calle Alcala and Avenida Arivaca. A caller said a man and woman were physically fighting, and the man was dragging the blonde woman (who wore a hot pink sweater) near Trabuco Road.
