Man Threatened with Baseball Bat Following Cigarette Flicking

A young man riding in a white Ford Ranger wearing a tank top flicked a cigarette at another man Tuesday night on the 200 block of California Court.
The insulted man told him to pick it up, and the driver came out at him with a baseball bat, according to the caller, who told police at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. 200 block of Civic Center. An officer writing a report regarding a woman who walked into the Police Department about a child pornography situation said the woman refused to give out any key information, including her last name.
Traffic stop. 2:00 a.m. Wednesday. Oso Parkway and Fairfield. A 23-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at the Central Men’s Jail and was released when he posted bail.
Grand theft. 8:02 p.m. Tuesday. 26600 block of Tampico Place. A caller said someone stole her son’s BMX bike from a neighbor’s home down the street.
Drunk in pubic. 6:55 p.m. Tuesday. Ramada Lane and Via Del Norte. Police, responding to a suspicious person report about a 26-year-old man wearing thick eyeglasses, a colorful sweater and shorts, took a man into custody at the Orange County Jail on $20,000 bail.
A caller had reported the man drinking beer at a corner, near some bushes.
