Neighbor Sneaks Up, Yells at Dog Walkers

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Sept 20-22.

A caller from the 24000 block of Sprig Street said a neighbor snuck up behind them while they were walking their dog to the park and began yelling for unknown reasons. 

The caller added that the same thing occurred a few night before.

The latest report was made at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:05 p.m. Thursday. La Paz Rd and Muirlands Boulevard.

Property for destruction. 12:01 p.m. Thursday. 28300 block of Gitano.

Follow up report. 9:14 p.m. Wednesday. 21100 block of Chestnut. Sheriff deputies performing a follow up report arrested a 52-year-old woman and took bher into custody at Orange County Jail and was released after posting bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. 26100 block of San Roque Drive. A resident said a man who knocked on their door and was possibly trying to enter the home through a window also had his car parked in front of the residence with its trunk open.

Traffic stop. 10:02 a.m. Wednesday. I-5 and Crown Valley Parkway. A 36-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was released for undisclosed reasons.

Robbery in progress. 8:57 a.m. Wednesday. Alicia Parkway and Lanzarote. A caller said two kids were going through a smaller kid’s pockets and taking money while stepping on his feet so that he couldn’t leave.

Traffic stop. 9:38 p.m. Tuesday. Via Fabricante and Alicia Parkway. A 32-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where she was cited and released.

Disturbance-family dispute. 7:49 p.m. Tuesday. 28400 block of Los Alisos Blvd. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 27-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $10,000 bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 5:05 p.m. Tuesday. Alicia Parkway and I-5. A caller said a man in his 50s, wearing a green, plaid shirt and khaki shorts was running into traffic while talking to himself.
