Online Self-Harm, Suicide Threats

Two calls to police about self-harm online since Tuesday night.

Since Tuesday night, police have been called twice after people online threatened self-harm.

At 8:58 p.m., a mom said her child was chatting to someone online who posted a status update claiming he was cutting himself. That call came from the 27700 block of Killarney.

About an hour later, Mission Viejo police were asked to check on the welfare of a 15-year-old girl who said on Skype that she "doesn't know how she is going to go on living" and "she wants to end it."
