2 Businesses Robbed Near Saddleback College

Two businesses had broken windows and empty tills Thursday morning.

Burglars broke into two businesses this morning near Saddleback College, according to the Sheriff's online blotter.

At 10:20 a.m., police were called about a break-in at Papa John's Pizza on Marguerite Parkway. Police were dispatched 26 minutes later.

Police were told the safe was empty and the money was gone. A worker later said only the till was robbed, "so it wasn’t really that much."

Another police call came in at 7:03 a.m. Someone noticed a broken window to the left of a Subway restaurant. "Looks like someone broke in," according to the caller.

Subway workers said their store was not robbed, but a nail salon in that center was. Attempts to contact the nail salon Thursday afternoon were unsuccessful.

Police Sgt. William McGovern said he had no information on either break-in.

Here are more items from the blotter:

  • A man at Mission Hospital carrying a Bible and wearing a cross had cuts on his body and was a danger to himself, according to a caller. The man was attempting to leave the hospital, the caller said. Thursday, 6:24 a.m.
  • Vandalism was seen near the community pool at Brindisi. Wednesday, 7:12 p.m.
  • Two men were seen selling big-screen television from their car near the Alicia/Charlinda intersection. When a man refused to buy, the two men threatened him. Wednesday, 6:18 p.m.
  • A 14-year-old girl was being followed home by a bully. Wednesday, 5:35 p.m.

There is a reason why sites like Patch 2.0 don't look good on Shripathi's Kindle-whatever screen,Read More but these sites do look great on the iPhone in Portrait for Landscape view. I'll be writing a post about that. If you're a business owner with a web site, you need to understand the reason in order to save money on your site.

The Bible also tells us that there were magicians who filled Egypt with blood, just like YahwehRead More helped Moses do. As to why magicians would fill the Nile (drinking supply), and their own country with blood, and stink it all up just to put Yahweh in his place is anyone's guess. Maybe this psychic can ask one of those magicians and let us know.
