A small plane with two people aboard made an emergency landing on a toll road in Mission Viejo on Sunday, but no one aboard the aircraft or on the ground was injured, authorities said.
The plane landed on the northbound 241 toll road at Oso Parkway about 3:15 p.m., a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
Fire crews were dispatched as a precaution, according to Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority.
