Police Calls: Man Passed Out In Car at La Paz/Muirlands

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department October 5-7.

Monday

  • A woman reported her purse was stolen from her shopping cart on the 26000 block of Marguerite around 12:45 p.m.
  • Motorcycles were heard racing up and down the street near the Olympiad/Jeronimo intersection around 1:15 a.m.
Sunday
  • A man on the 24100 block of Jeronimo was seen possibly going through vehicles around 10:10 p.m.
  • A 21-year-old man was arrested at 6:49 p.m. at the Santa Margarita/Los Alisos intersection on a warrant. He is being held at Central Jail Court on $15,000 bail.
  • A man passed out inside a black Crown Victoria in the intersection of La Paz and Muirlands around 3:30 p.m.
  • Police were called on a landlord entering his property at 24900 Spadra with no prior notice around 1:50 p.m.
  • A driver was spotted traveling south in the northbound lane of Marguerite around 3 a.m. A 28-year-old man was arrested and is still being held on $10,000 bail.
Saturday
  • Two vehicles crashed on Marguerite between Alicia and Trabuco around 10:30 p.m.
  • Someone apparently dumped a TV at Aurora park, according to a call that came in around 8 p.m.
  • A 38-year-old salesman was arrested following an accident at the Estanciero/Marguerite intersection. The accident was reported around 7:20 p.m. The man remains in custody at Theo Lacy jail on $25,000 bail.
  • A 56-year-old woman was arrested following a family dispute at the 26500 block of Fresno Drive. She remains in custody at Central Jail Court on $50,000 bail.
