Police Respond to Teen Heroin Overdose

An 18-year-old woman was found unconscious Monday afternoon on Leto Circle but still breathing following a heroin overdose, according to an emergency call to police.

Firefighters responding to the 28400 block of Leto found the teen and called police at 1:48 p.m.

7:38 p.m. Drunk in public, Crown Valley Parkway and Puerta Real: A man was spotted bobbling in front of a business after a few drinks.

2:39 p.m. Battery, Mission Hospital: A 26-year-old man admitted to the emergency room said he had been assaulted and battered.

2:01 p.m. Welfare check, Alicia Parkway/I-5: A woman who appeared to a caller to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol was playing around in one of the shopping carts designed for the disabled.

1:13 p.m. Stolen vehicle, 25800 block Appian Way: A man's 2001 Ford Ranger was stolen Sunday night. He found out down the street with all the radio equipment removed.

10:54 a.m. Vandalism, 24400 block Diamante: A window was smashed.

9:22 a.m. Petty theft, 26300 block Oso: Someone was spotted running off with a can of gas. A 45-year-old salesman was arrested and is being held on $22,500 bail.

SUNDAY

9:31 p.m. Suspicious person/circumstances, 0 block Le Mans: Six people were seen jumping a fence to get into a pool.

7:21 p.m. Disturbance, 27600 block Durazno: A mother and her son got into a physical fight over missing money, according to a caller.

5:31 p.m. Drunk in public, Santa Margarita Parkway/Los Alisos: An 18-year-old woman was seen stumbling around in high heels carrying a bottle of vodka.

3:05 p.m. Suspicious person/circumstances, 25200 block Marguerite Parkway: A caller found a carpet set on fire behind the given location. The informant thought it was set intentionally. It had been put out by the time police were called.

2:37 a.m. Disturbance, 25800 block Majorca Way: A man wearing a plaid shirt was yelling at a house and threatening to harm the family inside.

12:02 a.m. Disturbance, Majorca Way/San Rafael Drive: A caller said 20 people were fighting in the streets. None had weapons, the caller said.
