Punishment Stands for Man Guilty of Kissing 12-Year-Old

A Mission Viejo man found guilty of sex acts with a 12-year-old girl will remain under house arrest, according to a recent appeals court ruling.

A Mission Viejo man found guilty of a lewd act on a child will still be able to own toys and video games, but his house arrest stands based on a ruling by the California Court of Appeals in Santa Ana filed Friday.

Judson Gillard Lee was convicted by a jury of passionately kissing a neighbor girl on two occasions between the time she was 12 and 14.

Lee, who lives near the Jeronimo/Marguerite intersection according to one website, appealed his probation. The original court's ruling was upheld by the appelate court, and Lee will continue to serve his five years of formal probation, with another 270 days in jail.
