Shots Heard Near Elementary School
The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from June 21-23.
A resident reported hearing three loud, explosive noises—two of which sounded like gunshots—coming from a nearby school or park in the 24000 block of Via La Coruna.
Sheriff's deputies who were sent out on foot patrol at Castille Park said they found nothing suspicious.
The call was made around midnight Wednesday.

Disturbance. 6:36 a.m. Wednesday. Felipe Road and Marguerite Parkway. Sheriff's deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 25-year-old electrician and took him to the Orange County Jail, where he was released after posting bail.
