SUV Nosegrind—4-Car Crash at Trabuco Hills High

A four-car pile-up on Mustang Run hospitalized one Trabuco Hills High girl.

A four-car crash on Mustang Run hospitalized one Trabuco Hills High girl and stopped traffic around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.

The driver of a Dodge sports car clipped a female student's Charger and crashed into two parked vehicles, said Captain Jon Muir of the Orange County Fire Authority. The girl hesitated during a U-turn while the Dodge attempted to pass, one witness said.

The girl was sent to a local hospital with a nosebleed, Muir said.

"I almost threw up." That was Trabuco junior Nicholas Primm's reaction to finding the parked SUV his parents gave him in August up in the air, with its back tire on top of the parked car behind him. When his mom heard the news, she started crying, he said.

Primm got a call at lunch that his car had been hit.

"I assumed it got tapped, not totalled," he said. "I'm glad I wasn't inside."

Junior Chris Perrin discovered his car beneath Primm's when he went to put some things inside it at lunch. His reaction? "I was like, 'This is my lucky day.'"

The driver of the Dodge declined to answer questions.
