Terrorist Threats, Grand Theft and Other Crime Reports

The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from May 10 to May 12.

Disturbance. 10:25 a.m. Thursday. 25700 block of Cervantes Lane.

Assault with deadly weapon report. 8:19 a.m. Thursday. 26300 block of Via Escolar.

Burglary alarm-audible. 8:44 a.m. Thursday. 26700 block of Carlota Drive.

Vandalism in progress. 11:56 p.m. Wednesday. 27900 block of Lucero.

Burglary report. 7:05 p.m. Wednesday. 25800 block of Marguerite Parkway.

Grand theft. 4:34 p.m. Wednesday. 27900 block of Hillcrest.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:51 a.m. Wednesday. Alicia Parkway and Charlinda Drive. Police responding to a suspicious person report arrested a 44-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released. 

Traffic accident-non injury. 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. Marguerite Parkway and Oso Parkway. Police responding to a traffic accident arrested a 41-year-old woman and placed her in custody at Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 6:05 a.m. Wednesday. 26700 block of Baronet.

Traffic stop. 10:28 p.m. Tuesday. Alicia Parkway and I-5. A 25-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was placed in custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.

Terrorist threats. 10:02 p.m. Tuesday. 25700 block of Appian Way.

Vandalism report. 5:13 p.m. Tuesday. 24100 block of Juaneno Drive.

Burglary in progress. 3:56 p.m. Tuesday. Santa Margarita Parkway and Marguerite Parkway.
