The jury trial of Omar Alirio Guzman, accused of molesting three young girls, was set by a judge Friday.
Guzman, a Mission Viejo resident, is scheduled to stand trial Monday, May 13 at 9 a.m. in courtroom C5 inside Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana.
In December, Guzman pled not guilty to 10 felony charges.
On Friday, Guzman's attorneys asked a judge to dismiss one or more of the charges, a request that was apparently denied according to court website.
Guzman could be sentenced to up to 135 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Guzman met a 9-year-old girl and the 10-year-old girl while they visited one of his relatives in Mission Viejo and visited them from February 2009 to Dec. 2010, according to a statement from the Orange County District Attorney's office.
He met the 5-year-old girl in 1995 at a home in Dove Canyon where he worked as a house cleaner, according to the same statement.
