Vending Machine Is Set Afire

The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from June 24-28.

A caller said a vending machine in front of Saddleback College was on fire and that whoever did it might still have been in the area.

The arson report was made around 9:34 p.m. Sunday at the 28000 block of Marguerite Parkway.

Pedestrian check. 9:58 p.m. Friday. Crown Valley Parkway and Los Altos.  A 42-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian check and was placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 11:49 p.m. Friday. 28800 block of Los Alisos Boulevard. Sheriff's deputies responding to a suspicious-person report arrested a 30-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $27,000 bail.

911 hang-up—wireless. 2:48 a.m. Saturday. 26600 block of Matias Drive. A 22-year-old woman was arrested and placed into custody at Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail. 

Suspicious person in vehicle. 10:14 a.m. Saturday. 24300 block of Cataluna Circle.

Warrant arrest. 11:55 a.m. Saturday. 27200 block of Los Altos. A 20-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants and was placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $37,500 bail.

Burglary report. 6:02 p.m. Saturday. 26100 block of Las Flores.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:58 p.m. Saturday. 27200 block of Nogal.

Disturbance—family dispute. 10:47 p.m. Saturday. 21600 block of Marguerite Parkway. Sheriff's deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 48-year-old woman and placed her in custody at the Musick jail on $10,000 bail.

Traffic stop. 10:15 a.m. Sunday. Crown Valley Parkway and Medical Center Road. A 25-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was placed into custody at Central Men’s Jail with no bail set.

Pedestrian check. 10:53 a.m. Sunday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Madero.  A 20-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian check and  placed into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $1,500 bail.

Burglary alarm—audible. 1:08 a.m. Monday. 25100 block of Pradera Drive.

Disturbance. 12:11 p.m. Monday. 27000 block of Fortrose. Sheriff's  deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 21-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $15,000 bail.

Traffic accident—unknown injuries. 12:59 p.m. Monday. Alicia Parkway and Olympiad Road. Sheriff's deputies responding to a traffic accident arrested a 30-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Prowler. 2:09 a.m. Tuesday. 25700 block of Santo Drive.

Disturbance. 12:36 a.m. Tuesday. Crucero and Camargo.
