Neighbor escapes knife but is bitten by drunken woman, according to police.
A woman was arrested Monday night on suspicion of attempting to stab a neighbor with a steak knife.
Police arrested Alyssa Martel, 24, after responding to a call from the 21600 block of Marguerite Parkway.

A neighbor who overheard the couple arguing tried to intervene when Martel grabbed a steak knife and attempted to stab the neighbor, Kirsch said. The neighbor, who is a U.S. Marine, used his combat training to disarm Martel, Kirsch said. She then bit him on the arm, drawing blood, Kirsch said.
Martel was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence after being treated for alcohol poisoning.
