Voters now get a closer look at their candidates for city council.
The city released candidate statements Friday from five of the six potential city council candidates. The sixth candidate, Desi Kiss, sent his resume to Patch.

Friday is the deadline to declare candidacy for the November city council election in Mission Viejo. Here are the candiates, whose elligibility to run will be confirmed by Monday, said City Clerk Karen Hamman:
