Pit Bull/Terrier Puppy Needs a New Home

Daisy was almost euthanized before being picked up by Mission Viejo Animal Services.

Ten-month-old pit bull terrier mix Daisy is looking for a home.

She is part of the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center's rescue program and was transferred from an over-crowded shelter where her holding time was about to end, according to the city.

Because of a very minor skin condition, she was scheduled to be euthanized on the same day that the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center took her in. Now that she is at the center, she will receive the treatment needed to clear her skin and will find a forever home.

Daisy is described as well-behaved for her age. She seems to like other dogs and loves to run and play. She would fit in nicely in almost any home as long as she receives proper training and exercise, according to a city statement.

The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center is at 28095 Hillcrest. For more information, call 949-470-3045 or visit cmvas.org.
