Desperately Seeking Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow

NFL stars are prepping for their season opener at Mission Viejo High School, but where and when is a tightly-held secret.

A source close to the school's football program said yes, though no one is allowed to watch this year.

Rumors have bedeviled the Diablos campus ever since Sanchez that Jets West passing camp would return. But, this passing camp is completely shut off to the public.

The passing camp is a secret that the staff at MVHS are trying hard to keep. A school resource officer said he could "neither confirm nor deny" the Jets were visiting the campus. An office coordinator denied the passing camp was on campus, but she was holding an NFL-stamped football at the time.

Finally a football coach came clean. Is the passing camp this week?

"Yes, but nobody is allowed to watch," said the coach, who didn't give his name before quickly walking into the locked administration building.

Here are some other players who confirmed they'll be attending this year's passing camp:

  • Running backs Shonn Greene, Joe McKnight and John Conner
  • Wide receivers Jeremy Kerley, Patrick Turner and Scotty McKnight
  • Tight ends Dustin Keller, Jeff Cumberland and Josh Baker
