Football: El Toro Versus Mission Viejo May Sell Out

Buy tickets ahead of time at El Toro High School to ensure a seat at the Friday evening game.

Two undefeated Orange County football teams will take the field Friday in a matchup from which only one will emerge with their record intact.

El Toro High School's Chargers will take on the Mission Viejo Diablos on the Mission Viejo field at 7 p.m. in a battle for the South Coast League title.

Both teams are 9-0 and have racked up the points in prior games.

The Friday matchup could be an "old-fashion shootout," Lake Forest Coach Robert Frith told the Los Angeles Times. The game has the potential to be a sellout, El Toro High teachers say.

To ensure a seat at the game, residents can buy pre-sale tickets at El Toro High School on Thursday and Friday.

Tickets are available to purchase at the Associated Student Body office from 12:35-1:15 p.m. and in the Athletics office from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

On game day tickets will also be sold at Mission Viejo High, at 25025 Chrisanta Dr.

El Toro supporters will dress in white for the game.

Laying aside my journalistic integrity for a moment as I'll be at the game as a Lake Forest resident, not a reporter...Go El Toro!
