National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists from Mission Viejo
Students from Trabuco Hills High, Capistrano Valley High and Mission Viejo High have been selected National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalists.
Smart kids? We've got 'em. All three public high schools in Mission Viejo have Naitonal Merit Scholarship semifinalists this year.
Here's who's on the list of 6,000 semifinalists. About 9 in 10 semifinalists will make it to the finals, and more than half of the finalists win scholarships, according to the NMS website.
In all, National Merit offers about 8,300 scholarships worth a combined $32 million.
