Oxford Prep Students to Relive the American Revolution Monday

It's time to get back to America's roots at Oxford Preparatory Academy, 23000 Via Santa Maria.

Fifth-graders will hold a Walk Through the American Revolution from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with sets, costumes and lines reenacted from the nation's birth.

All of Oxford Prep's fifth-graders helped make the sets and learn lines for this special event.

And when the young historical re-enactors get hungry, a lunch similar to what people ate in the late 18th century will be served. For example, one parent plans to bring enough apple crisp to feed 80.
