Viejo Elementary volunteers are taking advantage of the long holiday weekend by removing drying grass from the school's gardens.
The school at 26782 Via Grande will be leaving its garden space open all weekend for parents to help clear the grassy debris and pile it next to the dumpster.
Parents are encouraged to bring rakes, buckets, wheelbarrows, shovels and gloves to help clean up the mess.
