North Double-Downs on South in O.C. All-Star Games

The height advantage of the South team was countered by the quickness of the North, which scored a 98-81 victory in the senior boys Orange County All-Star Basketball Game on Saturday night at Concordia University in Irvine.

Tesoro's Dusty Baker scored 11 points, grabbed three rebounds and had an assist for the South, while Capistrano Valey's Taylor Hamasaki added eight points. Mission Viejo center Isaac Neilson finished with six points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots.

In the preceding senior girls game, Capistrano Valley guard Krystal Canning led the South with 13 points and her Cougar teammate, Jessica Johnson, added seven, but the North won, 70-62.
