Sports Shorts: Mission Viejo Hires New Water Polo Coach

With Trevor McMunn on a leave of absence and under investigation, Timothy Rendon is named to guide Diablos' boys team.

Mission Viejo High has hired Timothy Rendon as its new boys water polo coach, according to Tammy Blakely, assistant to the superintendent in the Saddleback Valley Unified District and reported in the Orange County Register.

Rendon replaces Trevor McMunn, who is on a leave of absence. .

The Diablos open their season today at Northwood.
