Trabuco Hills Distance Runner Commits to Biola

Trabuco Hills High distance runner Delanie Eng has committed to Biola University, according to a school statement.

Eng led her cross country team to a second place finish in the Orange County Championships in fall 2013. She was also a part of the team that finished third in the California state meet and second in the CIF-SS championships.

When she enters Biola as a freshman this fall, she will be a part of the track and field and cross country programs led by head coach Jonathan Zimmerman.

"Delanie is the most humble and well-grounded individual, and she will be a great addition to our team," Zimmerman said. "She understands the competitive nature of cross country and track and field. She has shown great improvement in her race times every year."

Eng plans to major in graphic arts.
