Give a Dress to the "Belle of the Ball"

Have a prom dress, party dress or bridesmaid dress collecting dust? You can donate it to local girls through the Orangewood Foundation.

Orange County girls looking for donated prom dresses could use your help.

About 350 girls are expected to participate in the "Belle of the Ball" dress donation program put on by the Orangewood Foundation, with the help of Orange Coast College, Women Helping Women and Girls Inc.

"We are hoping to get as many dresses as possible so that each girl has a selection of sizes, styles and colors," said Sara Bazant, marketing director for Orangewood.

They need the donations by March 16.

The donated dresses will go to girls in foster care and at-risk teen girls.
