Art Show, Basket Weaving and 'Beauty and the Beast' Musical

Here is a look ahead to events and happenings in Mission Viejo/Laguna Niguel-Dana Point and Orange County from Jan. 13-19.

1. Disney's Beauty and the Beast will be performed as a musical Jan. 14-19 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa. Tickets start at $29.
2. If you've ever wanted to do more to help fight cancer, here is your chance. The Mission Viejo Relay for Life committee is meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at the community center, 24932 Veterans Way. 3. Watch live Native American basket-weaving demonstrations at the Mission San Juan Capistrano Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
4. See the artistic talent that has been developed in Ann Kline's fine arts class on display Monday at the community center. Watercolor, oil and acrylic creations produced in class will be displayed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. 
   
5. The Breakfast with Gary and Kelly show will feature nine-time Grammy nominee saxophonist Dave Coz Saturday. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
