Chuck Smith Memorial Sunday at Honda Center

The late Pastor Chuck Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel and an early leader in the Jesus movement, will be memorialized Sunday evening at the Honda Center in Anaheim, 2695 E Katella Ave.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m. The memorial starts at 5 p.m. Parking is $5.

Speakers will include Greg Laurie, who started preaching under Smith's guidance to the group that would later become Harvest Christian Fellowship.

Smith—who is credited with founding the first Christian music label in Maranatha! Music—will be memorialized by musicians such as Jeremy Camp and foundational Christian rock band Love Song.
