This clown told Shawn Hornbeck's parents that he was dead & his body was near railroad tracks.

The Bible also tells us that there were magicians who filled Egypt with blood, just like Yahweh…Read More helped Moses do.
As to why magicians would fill the Nile (drinking supply), and their own country with blood, and stink it all up just to put Yahweh in his place is anyone's guess.
Maybe this psychic can ask one of those magicians and let us know.

I attended last year and it was wonderful. I'm sorry that I missed it this year; I was out of town.…Read More I am so happy that Mike Maiolo and Mission Viejo Christian Church have organized this great event for the past two years (and it was twice as big this year as last year!) Prayer does make a difference, and we have a lot of people in our City who know that and appreciated this opportunity to come together and pray on the National Day of Prayer!

As one who has spent a lifetime of praying, I have seen God perform miracles, both personally and in…Read More the lives of others. I don't know how anyone can make it in this world without a relationship with his/her creator. Faith, Hope and Love flow from Him. Something the world desperately needs. Wise men still seek Him.

Why did the city change the name from Easter Egg Hunt to Bunny Days?

Oh Miss Claudia...didn't ask for your opinion of anything, therefore I'm not interested in anything…Read More you have to say. I really don't want to see such dumb articles in the positings for Laguna Niguel. Previously Patch was for the area you live in & now it's going south quickly I predict it will close by the end of the year...very little here.

Ragland, looking at the situation regarding the facts, not a biased opinion because I may personally…Read More know them. I have read every report and listened to the rescue in real time on the scanner.
Their behavior raises questions that they are unwilling to answer seemingly claiming memory loss. These are facts , it's not personal.

(cont.) So, my guess would be Nick is trying to say he'd love to retrace what happened to get more…Read More insight. The truth is, we may never know the full truth.
I really think unless you have been in that state, you really don't know. I wish people would just use their energy to be grateful for both teens & families, thank everyone who in any way contributed (including prayer--I believe it all helped), marvel at how quickly a community can come together (remarks to me from Nick's family were how nice it was to know how many nice people there truly are), and learn from this what we can. But, do it without judgment which is just never helpful.

This is probably one of the most profound articles I have read in a long time. It doesn't matter if…Read More people reading this have or have not experienced loss, these tweets remind me that we all need to see, hear, or read encouragement in one form or another. I can't keep up with Twitter (it's hard enough with Facebook and Instagram), so I appreciate you posting this.

Thank you Martin for your words. I do not follow twitter and have found the words posted here from…Read More Pastor Rick to be one of the most heartwrenching, deep, and inspiring things I have read in ages! Pastor Rick is an amazing human being and truly a leader. I am certain that his son's death will not be in vain, as Pastor Rick will make certain of that (he is already in the process of creating a minisry for mental illness and the world could use this). I am grateful to "The Patch" for posting these tweets, something I would never have read otherwise. THANK YOU!!!

Police said nothing publicly, but word was out "on the street" that something had been…Read More found though I noticed that not even the press was aware of this. I overheard a semi-professional search and rescue team leader who seemed to have inside knowledge (maybe he was an off-duty law enforcement person) make mention of drug items in his briefing to his team Wednesday morning near where Nick's car was found, though he was not very specific as to what exactly had been found.

We love Rick and Kay Warren; and we hurt because they are hurting. Since we have utmost respect and…Read More honor for them, we find it difficult to hear the periodic mean-spirited comments made by some; mostly, ill-informed individuals. Rationale thinking says that any tragedy in the life of any person or family demands compassion from others--not railing. If we were able to collect the supportive notes and letters for the Warren family and compare them to those who are lacking kindness and empathy, I believe the clear message would be sent--Rick and Kay Warren are dearly loved and the presence of God is their strength.

You seem you have a lot of anger for this Preacher of the Gospel! Tragedy is tragedy! Why…Read More persecution for this man? He made nobody to choose life or death , they had a free will , Its unfortunate they choose death, Suicide spirit is at and all time high, more military men and women have committed suicide the last couple years more than anytime in history ! Dont blame a man! Choices are made individually! our prayers should be for all that are hurting!

You have a male, female, and a bi (either F or M, no matter) - that way you have a true loving…Read More relationship that has all participating - you can actually have your own kids, you can have at least one, two, or three incomes to support a family, every thumped out actual bio kid has a mom, dad, and an extra of one or the other.
Whuts a more perfect union??! Seems a much better argument than what's been going on by ether side here - and even better if one of the three in such a union is a lawyer - not necessary but is economical. Leave 'marriage' as a term for the two in a hetero legacy relationship, and promote 'Thrunions' - threepers. It's all just about people loving and sexing each other anyway.
We can have marriage-2heteros; Thrunions, - 3of a male and female round-up, and logically and best suited for todays whirld; and Twunions-2 homos, M or F. Everybody gets taxed the same way. Case clothesed.
[And the lady in the news with the 40 year relationship, why she and her partner didn't go to legalzoom a long time ago and set up things so she didn't get stung by a $350k taxhit is not a homo or a hetero problem, but a brain freeze on these two ladies shortsighted sheet...holycow what a little schooling could help, instead of the headmush espounded by the 'newsmedias'...sheeesh!]

In a LGBT swirl, we hear alot from the L's, and the G's, but little from the B's and the T's (the…Read More latter, less since MiltonBurl's gone, and EddyMurfees staying home at nite...); but the B's are strangely quiet... (even the Jtruvaltas, TCroozes, KSpaceez, and the Callooneys,,,I bullieve..). Just seems odd there's less outfront from these last two groups in the mix.
Logically, an argument for changing personal unions (...everybody could probubbly be better together if we just left the term 'marriage' alone and left it to the heteros...whuts the big deal 'friends'?; it's a big legal country here that can work fine with a contractual union that anyone can set up in this country - that's a lot less expensieve than 'getting married', hetero or homo, and stop trying to whistle up an ol river that has its own course and tack on to the well-existing 'marriage' term. There is an obvious distinction between hetro and homo unions, so get over it fellow/fellowette humans, ok)...but to continue some logic, the arguments played for homo unions are even better seved for human unions that really involve three people. Truly.

"Kind of hard to elect an Argentine without some Italian in the mix somewhere."
He's a…Read More full-blooded Italian.
As I said, I hope they don't package him up as the "First Hispanic Pope" once he eventually comes to America. That would be very deceptive and underhanded IMO. It's better to be up front with people instead of pulling the wool over their eyes. Even if some aren't aren't citizens. It's not fair to those who are underinformed.

I love the way…Read More Argentinians seem to sing their Spanish. "Che!..."
I think this came in from the Italian immigrants many years ago.
Lots of Italians and Germans came to Argentina over the last 100 years.
JustUs March 14, 2013 at 02:05 pm
Yes, I concur. The Catholics finally made a smart move and covered all bases that can only help…Read More their Church. If he comes to Southern Cal Pope Francis will probably be marketed as the first "hispanic Pope" when in reality he's really not at all. And when he visits Italy he will be heralded for his Italian blood, which, of course, is true. I have no idea why they elevated Ratzinger, a German, to Pope. It only drew attention to the fact that the Vatican indirectly supported the Third Reich in WW2. And that was really a dumb move IMO. It's vital for religions to play world politics to grow or to sustain power. And they gain synergism when they work in cooperation with elite governments. Naturally, you've heard the phrase "the cross and the sword" before. Instead of looking at this just from a spiritual or religious point of view it's important to look at it from a power play perspective. After all, it's all about power and domination at the end of the day. It's just a matter of how large organizations sell themselves to the public that determine how successful they are. One thing is for sure. If he comes to So. California I will make sure I steer clear of all streets within 5 square miles of where he's at. It will be like a parking lot. Many people regard him as the next best thing to Jesus. Wouldn't it be cool if he went down to Venice Beach and walked on water with the help of some Hollywood special effects people?
